@p1huycke I agree! I never said that they should have opened. Frankly, it’s annoying because 90 other people died and the community is still in shambles, but all people want to talk about is Mystic. Let the courts deal with it, and put your energy into the community that’s still there.

Now it’s his extended family dealing with the ownership and lawsuits and whatnot. Have whatever opinions about that, but the guy who you’d probably blame this on did, in fact, die.

Outside of the few species we’ve domesticated for crop pollination, most species are in rampant decline in their native ranges, many are threatened or endangered and we’ve seen several go extinct in the past century.

Cuckoo bumble bees (not to be confused with cuckoo bees)(also cool)

True bumble bees, but they’re social parasites on other species nests. Super cool niche, and the presence of them is typically a good health indicator.

It saddens me that a lot of people don't know that there are more bees then just western honey bees. There are thousands of species and yet it is always the same one species getting attention. :(
