Fans, Sony has reportedly spent money on bots and grifters to deter you from talking about physical games. They want to discredit your voice. They told you they will ignore you.
Is this how a company are supposed to treat their fans? Read the bottom two bullets points
For the record, I think this is worth destroying Playstation over
Don't buy their console. Don't buy their games. Abandon their ecosystem and force them to earn you back
For anyone upset about Sony’s move to end physical media,
I’d suggest heavily supporting Stop Killing Games
This initiative is literally fighting to protect exactly what these companies want to destroy. It aims to force publishers to ensure you can always access and play the games you paid for—even after they stop supporting them
One of the worst moves you could make.
Fast internet isn't available everywhere.
Physical is ownership.
Digital is renting under the lie of owning.
You go all digital, you better not price anything above $40, you're not paying for manufacturing/shipping/shelf cost anymore.
REMINDER: SONY WANTED TO SHUT DOWN THE PS3 STORE WHEN THE PS5 RELEASED. THEY REVERSED COURSE DUE TO PUSHBACK.
THEY TRIED TO FORCE PC PLAYERS TO LINK PSN ACCOUNTS FOR HELDIVERS 2. THEY REVERSED COURSE DUE TO PUSHBACK
#savephysicalgames#NOTBUYINGPS6
This kills consoles. No hyperbole. The whole point of a console is to a special, in person experience with the games, going to the store, getting the disc out, and playing it forever to your hearts content
If all consoles will be now is just PC’s with less features, count me out
A digital only future with shit like this around is bleak. Not only will you not own anything, but Sony can raise prices on a whim and you won’t even have the option to get used games or even borrow games from people anymore. This is strictly anti-consumer from every angle.
Domino's has made a statement mocking PlayStation's plans to move their games all from discs to digital.
“Domino's UK will cease production of physical pizzas and shift to production of digital pizzas only.”
ABSOLUTE BATMAN is going to be an animated series!
Nick and I can't thank @WB_Animation and @DCOfficial enough for making this happen.

How many times do companies need to get ratioed into the ground before they realize people do not want this shit?
There has not been a single announcement about AI voice usage that people have enjoyed. Anywhere. Companies have to HIDE IT. That should TELL THEM something.
One last thing I forgot to say!
To every badass rock ’n’ roller at Download Festival who saw our name on the bill and thought, “Wait... what’s Final Fantasy doing at Download?”—and then came over, checked out our set, and had a great time: you rule!
I was screaming my head off on that stage today, but I’m actually a game sound creator.
The game we make, Final Fantasy XIV, is running a free trial right now with about four RPGs’ worth of content.
So if you’re curious, come join us. We’d be absolutely thrilled to have you.
Thanks for giving us a chance, and we’ll see you somewhere down the road. 🤘🔥

The California State Assembly has passed the Protect Our Games Act, a bill to protect user rights after a game's service ends
Under this, games shutting down would need to provide at least 60 days notice to consumers, while also ensuring that purchasers will still have access to the game via an alt version or patch that allows it to be played offline. And if not, they must offer refunds
The bill must still be passed by the California Senate
