Ryzee119 ported SameBoy to Teensy 4.1 with 8MB PSRAM. Supports loading ROMs from SD card, Xbox 360 controllers, and audio. Performance is "not quite perfect, but pretty good in some less demanding games!"

@MattGreen160694 @Insignia_Live That's all been well known for ages. It's just a simple 2.5mm headset port. The point of this project is it replaces the 'puck' you have to install into the controller which contains a bunch of electronics and a microcontroller

@modzvilleusa @Voultar Probably closer to a 'cheap mod' at the moment as it relies on LFRAME from what I gathered?, whether it is possible to achieve LFRAME recreation with PIO remains to be seen. Look forward to the dev uploading their work when ready though. Lots of potential 😍

@AshEvans81 It supports DDR YCrCb no problem. Color space conversion can happen internally of the encoder if you need RGB output for some reason

@grievre_ebooks @Voultar @modzvilleusa Nah it's the full XboxHDMI board unfortunately. Although what you're referring to is a "single chip" the firmware on it took hundreds of hours of development time so it's a bit of a cop out if used with bad intentions without owning the original hardware etc

Unfortunately there is active efforts to clone xboxhdmi. When called out that you cant sell it with xboxhd fw; SEM appeared and is being used by the cloners.
It would appear (to me) its main justification was 2 find a loop hole with the FW 🤷
