In the AFC, the Dolphins have an outside shot of snagging the last playoff spot. If they win the next two and the Steelers drop a game to the Bears without their sensational rookie QB, week 17 will likely be a play-in game between Dolphins and Steelers.
NFC playoff race is bananas. Giants, 49ers, Eagles, and Vikings are in. Then these teams are playing for the last two spots (wildcard and South):
Panthers 8-6 (PHI, NYG)
Bucs 7-6 (NYJ, ARI, NO)
Cardinals 7-6 (GB, TB, SEA)
Redskins 7-6 (NO, DEN, PHI)
Rams 6-7 (SEA, DET, MIN)
I saw the decline coming for the Falcons and the improvement for the Saints and Panthers -- just overestimated the Saints and under estimated Carolina. The Buccaneers were tough to peg because they added so much talent, but faced long odds with the schedule.
With just two games separating the Eagles and Giants with the two still facing off once more, I don't feel too bad about the order. Boy was I wrong about Mariota and the Giants though.
This was the division I was most excited to watch this season and they haven't disappointed. It's a shame one will likely miss the playoffs with two, 2 loss teams in the North.
I predicted a turn around for the Niners going from the hardest schedule to an easier than average one, and the opposite for the Cardinals. Rams and Seahawks are essentially the same year in and year out.
I didn't see the Steelers QB making such a difference based on how little Dobbs showed in the past. Predicting the exact division order will come down to week 15 between Ravens and Steelers.
This one is impressive how wrong I was. Pretty much every prediction turned out the exact opposite, starting with the rookie QB's for the Broncos and Raiders.
We'll start with a good prediction. While I thought the Vikings would take a step back due to the bump in schedule difficulty, they've actually been good against the upper echelon teams this season.
“Seaaons over. We cant fucking tackle old ass carlos hyde. I dont know what in the actual fuck that performance was. Carr is abysmal, the defense was horrendous, we lose to a team that is coming off a 37-0 ass kicking to the Jets. Im appalled at what I just saw” - Coach Moj
