@Lightning254 Paper Mario TTYD had a similar issue, where the optimal strategy was litterally to stay at 1hp to nuke the enemy with risk reward damage boosting badges, but if you could superguard you wouldn't even ever take damage.

Because as it turns out to make something that people love it needs to be something creative you love doing yourself.
