Asians arent just the chinese/koreans/japanese. It saddens me to be poorly represented/not represented at all in other forms of media such as films and literature. #storyahanay
As much as we'd love to keep talking to all of you, sadly this one's the last π
Whether you saw it on films or heard it happen in real-life, what asian stereotype do you hate the most?
Don't stop talking, don't stop letting our voices be heard! #storyahanay#StopAsianHate π€π€
We love hearing from you! Let's keep the people talking, so here's question #3!
As an asian, what makes you proud of your culture and heritage?
Again, videos, photos, memes are very much welcome. Don't forget to use our hashtag #storyahanay#StopAsianHate
Change starts with us. I think if we choose to educate and treat everyone with kindness then we can truly move forward. It wont be a quick process but it can do so much. #storyahanay
We feel you all. Being asian is not a crime and here's question #2!
As a student nurse who aspires to practice the field outside the country. What actions would you take to help stop the hate against Asian Americans?
don't forget to use #storyahanay#StopAsianHate
I feel sad and scared for my friends and family who are currently in other countries. I never knew being in a different race could make me feel so vulnerable. #storyahanay
Today's topic just makes me realize how undervalued our health care workers here are, however, I believe that the future will be betterβmost especially when we take the lead someday #storyhanay
I expect them to treat us better because this pandemic should open their eyes on who they run to whenever these things happen. Appreciation sounds nice undoubtedly and but I expect better pay :)) #storyahanay
By giving them the proper benefits and salary they deserve. Its also about funding projects that they do and by even giving them priority. Maybe then, some nurses are more willing to stay. #storyahanay
They're underpaid and not given enough recognition for all their sacrifices. Not to mention, even having to work with incomplete facilities here. #storyahanay
#storyahanay let's begin our chat by introducing ourselves to the world :-). Let's post of our pics either wearing our facemask, our whites, with our stethoscope, etc. let's pride ourselves for being health workers. :-)
I have received kindness from other people. One word I can describe my feeling is "grateful" because the world is cruel enough as it is and for people to show kindness is a great thing to encounter. β¨#storyahanay
For the next question, #Q2: "Have you ever receive kindness from others? Describe the feeling in one word and explain why you chose that word."
Reply or quote retweet this with your answer with the hashtag #Storyahanay! π
@bsn_2b As nurses, our main goal is to help our patients and clients to achieve the best health status they can have. We can achieve that through acts of service and acts of kindess. It is this kindness that sets us apart from other professions. β€οΈ #storyahanay
The distance created by this pandemic shouldn't really become an issue as long as there is trust, communication, and understanding. Keep the love alive and strong~ #storyahanay
π₯Q2. How can you show your love and support despite todayβs circumstances?
reply or reqoute your answer β¨
donβt forget the hashtag #storyahanay
