@ThatweirdoKimm I almost feel like that’s the point. it’s very symbolic in context with the show, showing how carmy, even when he’s offered “perfection” messes it up. how they handle claire from here is what will make her character. carmy has to earn her back and she needs to stand alone

@BrandonMunsen @OyindaOdewale I think it will pay off. him and syd do not work together at all imo. it’ll depend on how they handle claire from here and whether or not they make carmy truly earn her back which seems to be the direction they’re going for. it’ll also give claire the opportunity to shine alone

@lurkin4learnin @0xAlaric @reetheaded agreed. this take fails to understand that the “intellectual” concepts in the movies are just vehicles to tell a more emotionally complex story. ironically this take falls into its own trap and isn’t any better than the viewers it insults.
