In the end SIN, who rounded just ahead of ISR at the first windward rounding, managed to finish in 3rd, well ahead of ISR and ARG.

All the girls knew that today's race would decide their medal standings. ITA had a perfect start and lead from beginning to end.

Going into today, THA had 18 points followed by ITA, ISR and ARG tied with 38 points. SIN was just behind with 40 and ESP with 41.
