Stocks, bonds, gold and crypto all red on the same day. No data, no catalyst. The "growth scare" crowd has it wrong.
In a real scare, gold and Treasuries get the haven bid. Today they're falling WITH stocks while the 10Y backs up to 4.51%.
That's not fear. That's reserves draining out of the system.
RRP is empty at $4B. The TGA is pulling cash straight out of the plumbing, so everything gets sold at once.
The tell: $GLD moving +0.91 with stocks. Havens don't trade like that unless somebody's raising collateral.
So don't buy this TLT dip waiting for a flight to safety. That's not how a reserve squeeze works.
Bounces fail until net liquidity stops falling. Watch that, not the VIX.
Real test is Thursday's PCE. What's your read?
