About 6.5 billion miles! Given that the average Californian drives around 12,500 miles per year, this is enough to cover all the driving needs during this period of time for over 400,000 people, virtually emissions-free!

As CAISO increases its renewable generation, supply for electricity is more frequently exceeding demand resulting in renewable generation being wasted. Let's see how far we could drive a hydrogen car with the emissions-free energy that has been curtailed since the start of 2021:

In fact, we found that precooling can reduce CO2 emissions by ~3.5% while also reducing homeowner cost by ~13% and peak period consumption by ~57%! Itβs good for the grid, the environment, and your wallet!
