Join S4C today to take part in our grassroots group. We are a collective of students and staff from Trinity College Dublin and elsewhere who work actively to dismantle the corporate university, as well as the discriminatory systems it reflects and reproduces. Link in bio!
We won. Students, staff and the public united have pushed Trinity towards #BDS principles.
Commitment to full divestment. Ending procurement relationships. A full review of academic ties, with students and staff represented and an intent to cut them.
This must now spread! 🇵🇸🇵🇸
Students stand in solidarity with the Postgraduate Workers’ Organisation (@PWO_TCD) at Trinity College Dublin in their decision to strike. We stand behind their core demands for workers’ rights, a living wage, workplace respect, and fair treatment for non-EU and disabled PGRs.
Open letter to @tcddublin@LindaDoyle by @PWO_Ireland@PWO_TCD@tcdsu against shocking de-prioritisation of PhD/PGR issues. Our members are struggling to make ends meet during Ireland’s worst cost-of-living crisis -- Trinity must do better than "try again later and we may listen"
Direct action and not being afraid to stand up to those in power is what is needed to deliver change. Well done to all those who participated in the @tcdsu@S4C_group@S4C_TCD campaign. This is a victory for students and staff @tcddublin!

Multinational corporations hiking rents and exploiting international students who have nowhere else to go. Aparto as mentioned in article is Texas-based real estate investment company Hines' portfolio, managing $90.3 billion worth of assets. Unaffordable rents of €11-15,000 p/a.
Our @tcdsu letter to the editor this morning. The government has no solutions. The Rent-A-Room scheme is typical of the blind trust in market forces that the coalition espouses, gives too much power to landlords and drives up rents. We will remember this come election time.
Please consider signing this petition & share widely! @ifut
We call on Maynooth University to reverse their decision to instigate selection and to restore the democratic election process for staff representations on the Governing Authority.
