I am indeed a communist, and a very proud one in the tradition of Liam Ó Flaithbheartaigh and Pádraic Ó Conaire. But explain to me how the Catholic church was central to Gaelic identity, when the church promoted the speaking of English (and allegiance to the English crown).
At the root of violent knife crime and drugs gang culture in Dublin is the drugs trade. Until the state change policy and treat it is a health epidemic - violence will continue to unravel with all of the subsidiary effects that come from drugs gangs and their grooming of men.

@KitMurray Irish Communist Party wants Irish people North and South and working class communities to have final and complete say over Irish foreign affairs.
The triple lock must stay and there must be a lot more effort all round to push back against the attempt to dismantle it.
Nobody North or South in any community or workplace wants to see people get sent to die off for the Epstein class in Washington.
The defence forces have been underfunded and veterans suffer from PTSD and homelessness.
All of that has absolutely no link with the triple lock.
Soldiers should unionise and organise against the professional elites/officer class.

What is delusional about having fair bilateral relations with neighbouring countries while maintaining control over your:
resources, foreign affairs, defence and currency in a democratic manner?
What do you think sovereignty means?
The delusional belief that Ireland could ever exist as a 'sovereign' SIOC state is more common place amongst the Irish Marxist left than it should ever be and kind of just highlights the low level of theortical competency on the left in this country.
National sovereignty in other countries is otherwise known as socialism in one country. It always worked, it works now and will work in Ireland. Onwards to victory of the working class!
Millionaire TDs are not receiving enough pressure at all from the ground up to act in the best interests of the working class. Imagine ruling out a left wing alliance this early on. It's pathetic and goes to show how out of touch the parliamentarians really are from us.

All of your examples are working class. Cultural differences exist - but yes, if you work for a living, you are working class.
You are a capitalist who lives from the work of others ( landlord, employer who lives off others work and does not work )
It's not that complex
It’s interesting how old fashioned her language is. What is working class now? Is someone who has never worked by choice working class? What about a self employed plumber from a low income area who now drives a BMW? Is he the same class as the lad who never worked?
