@HPSupport: my notebook PC was purchased just over a year ago; is almost always used w/ power cord.
But now, the PC abruptly cut off because the battery was dead???
Powering on gave "CMOS Checksum" then "HP Battery Alert" errors.
"Power Source Test" stays stuck at 1%.
What to do?
