A few reminders as we head into Thanksgiving:
-Don't comment on someone's body, even if it looks different than the last time you saw it.
-Don't comment on someone's food choices. Those are inside thoughts.
-Don't assign moral value to food. You don't need to "earn" pie.
It’s kind of fucked up when you realize that during thanksgiving all the queer people seem to be working anytime you interface with customer service and then you realize why.
Not having children or having free time doesn't mean people always have access to you. It doesn't mean you always have to say 'yes' to every invite. Normalize down time. Taking time for yourself.
You don't need a valid "excuse" to not be somewhere.
