423 Students tested, 11 volunteers, 6 peer educators, 3 days, 2 schools, 1 HIV Campaign
Worth all the stress, phone calls, tears, laughs, good food, soccer drills, late nights, and long days. Thankful for this community, these people, and this successful @PeaceCorps project.
Can't wait to hear how "thoughts and prayers" lead to policy changes that promote protection.. oh wait, thoughts and prayers are what people offer up when they don't want or are unwilling to make real change.
SO CUTE :)
Ofc we need this assault riffle sales, because we as a country NEED to hunt. Its not like we invented other shooting sports (like Skeet) that don't require assault riffles or real bullets. But we need the guns for sport... Keep lying to yourself America.
This is America.
Alcohol and Marijuana sales are monetized and controlled by states (ex. Illinois, PA) but you can walk into any Walmart or Cabellas, or Outdoor World across the country and buy ammunition and assult riffles, but not baby formula.
So happy to be living here.....
The idea that an 18-year-old can walk into a store and buy assault weapons is just wrong.
What in God’s name do you need an assault weapon for except to kill someone?

Ask me what I’m proud of/thankful for this year? This year not only did I run my first half marathon, but in the same year I was able to cut my time by 19 minutes and break 2 hours, in 50 days.
I’m thankful for me, my body that is capable of hard things, and running.
Feels like a wasted opportunity with @UAMS_COPH. Went in incredibly hopeful and feeling like this is the reason AR struggles with Covid. The state public health uni doesn’t interact with students who are feverishly passionate about public health
It’s incredibly rude to take online classes where professors use public talks as lectures instead of creating their own material- or using lectures made from 3+ years ago
What’s worse? Im charged full tuition when professors are not even doing the minimum
Ty @UAMS_COPH 😒
11. Posting thousands of pictures of your kid on your social media.
Your kid didn’t have a chance to say if they want their entire life documented like a reality tv show - and once something is posted it never goes away. Give kids the chance at privacy.
Things we should stop doing as a culture:
1. Gender reveal parties
2. Glamorizing men who assist with parenting
3. Idolizing “the grind”
4. Joking about mental health/anxiety
But seriously there’s nothing cute about gender reveal parties, congrats your baby has genitalia….. ?
10. Referring to Africa as one big country instead of a landmass made up of different countries, cultures, and ethnic groups that each have their own identities.
It’s like saying the USA/America also consists of Canada and Mexico, and I KNOW, y’all wouldn’t stand for that
