The single largest foreign private investment in Indian port infrastructure.

APSEZ and MSC Group have entered into a definitive agreement under which MSC's terminal arm TiL will invest in a 49% share in Vizhinjam Port in a total deal value of USD 2.85bn.

TiL will invest USD 1.397bn, equivalent to its proportionate share.

The transaction is subject to customary approvals, including regulatory ones.
This development reinforces Vizhinjam’s position as a critical transshipment hub in the Indian Ocean region.

It also marks the third major APSEZ-MSC collaboration, following their successful partnerships in Mundra and Ennore.
