#lesson11 I've watched both the more modern Disney movies and the older ones that initially were released. I think the one thing that did change and improve is the fact that there are more female empowered roles, such as Frozen and Moana. #EDUC307

@educ307_vic I've always wondered this. I feel that its important for teachers to communicate that they understand that not every student has access to technology at home. It probably doesn't feel great to feel like the odd one out.
YouTube has helped me learn so many things. Idk about you guys, but Iβve watched hundreds of tutorials that have guided me throughout my entire life #lesson12
I think it definitely influences how we perceive the information in the videos. When there is no narrator, we can choose what we take from and understand in the videos.
The YouTube videos of the protests in lesson 12 are great examples of how something may appear as one thing on screen, but have an entirely different story in reality. Where is the narrator? What is really happening? #lesson12
With that being said, technology gives us the illusion of freedom because although we can express ourselves as we wish, there will always be consequences of our actions, whether they're positive or negative, & whether they affect us or not 3/3 #lesson5

communication is a crucial aspect in everyday lives wether itβs with a colleague, in a friendship or even relationship. a lot of information can be misconstrued or misunderstood if not without it! #lesson12
I think that interest safety should be taught in schools! When I was a kid, I had no idea what cookies were and what they did. Teaching kids about the dangers of the internet is the only way to protect them. #lesson9
Social media has also seen its downside as many people do hide behind their screens on "burner" accounts and choose to spread hate and negativity. #lesson12
