@NHS_HealthEdEng My favourite part is how UK medical training has gone from one of the best in the world to now seeing a mass exodus of doctors because of how unnecessarily long it is with a pure focus on service provision and no actual training. Happy anniversary!

@NHS_HealthEdEng Ahhh the time I was 10 minutes from walking down the aisle at my own wedding and I got a call from switchboard for being ‘the on call orthopaedic registrar’ and when I told them I - infact - was not, they ‘computer-says-no’d’ me and told me I must be and had to take the call 👍🏽

@NHS_HealthEdEng My favourite memory is the totally made up training numbers for each speciality annually, which are inexplicably pulled out of thin air or on the advice of non medical McKinsey consultants that you pay millions to.

@NHS_HealthEdEng I love the way you rarely remove Trainees from departments with multiple red flags, or even suicides. Or when you negotiate national policy with @BMA_JuniorDocs and then tell us you won't actually compel deaneries to abide by it and study budgets still don't get paid.
