@ZiaYusufUK Zia, your party fought your local election campaign on a promise to cut council tax.
Every single one of the councils that you run is putting council tax up!
If you what to see duplicity look in the mirror.
Over 17,000 @Prosper_UK_ supporters in just two weeks! And only about 1 in 3 voted Conservative in 2024 -proof there are lots of people with centre-right views who the party should be targeting me if it wants to recover. If *you* want pragmatic pro-growth politics, sign up 👇
So it is no secret I am not exactly on the right of the Tory Party but this was a well crafted speech from @KemiBadenoch + it gave voice to a Conservative narrative that has been missing from British politics for a while. It isn’t filled by Reform or the Liberals. Well done Kemi
@pauljholmes@RishiSunak Your analysis is completely correct
Rishi is a man of integrity. He put the interests of Britain and our people first .Best wishes to him and his family for the future
The past week at #CPC24 I spent my time championing a moderate, inclusive brand of Conservatism. One that focuses on real societal issues, not ideology.
To me @TomTugendhat embodies that best, & I hope MPs give members a proper choice on the different versions of Conservatism.

Fascinating to see the disconnect between the political commentatariat and the public when it comes to judging which candidate delivered the most convincing conference speech.
Tory MPs should take note. While members choose the leader, the electorate chooses the PM.

The world is more dangerous than it’s ever been. We don’t just need a safe pair of hands, we need a leader who stands by their convictions, can navigate the complexities of governing, and will keep our country safe.
As Conservatives we need to bring back integrity, competence and service to our party and country. That’s why I’m giving @TomTugendhat my full support to be our next leader and Prime Minister.
Tom will bring trust back to our party. He will always put the British people first, and is the decisive leader that the Conservatives, and our country, desperately need.
Life in totalitarian #NorthKorea was survival. I begged for food, witnessed public executions and saw fellow inmates being killed in underground cells. It's why I’m supporting @TomTugendhat, who stands up and fights against the regimes of Iran, Putin, Xi & Kim. Serve. Lead. Act.
