Dufour Aerospace has successfully completed a guidance flight in Sweden that was controlled entirely from the company’s Remote Control Room (RCR) in Dübendorf, Switzerland.
For long-range BVLOS drone operations, deploying operators to every flight location is neither practical nor scalable. Operating the mission from Switzerland while flying in Sweden demonstrates how remote control rooms can support missions across larger geographic areas while maintaining centralized operational oversight.
This approach reduces the personnel required at each deployment site while enabling operators to manage missions remotely. As BVLOS drone operations continue to expand, remote control rooms will play an increasingly important role in supporting efficient and scalable operations.
The flight also validated the procedures, communications infrastructure, and operational setup required to support remote mission management. It marks another step toward routine BVLOS drone operations and prepares the way for the next milestone: A-to-B flights using the same remote operating configuration.

Flight testing alone is not enough to develop reliable hybrid-electric systems. To better understand how components behave over time, validate control systems, and reduce development risk before flight operations, Dufour Aerospace has built a dedicated test container for hybrid powertrain development.
The setup includes:
• A hybrid system bench representative of the propulsion architecture
• Battery cycle testing infrastructure for evaluating different cell technologies
• Dyno setup for electric motor characterization
• Automation infrastructure for representative endurance testing
By running long-duration tests over tens of hours, the team can analyze efficiency, thermal behaviour, component aging, system reliability, and control logic under controlled conditions that would be difficult or impractical to reproduce during flight operations.
All test platforms are connected to a central control room, enabling parallel testing and a high degree of automation. This shortens development cycles, reduces reliance on external testing facilities, and provides direct access to operational data needed to improve reliability, safety, and certification readiness.

Remote communities and industrial outposts deserve the same level of critical service as urban hubs, but harsh terrain and long distances make traditional logistics costly, slow, and unpredictable.
That’s why we’re designing Aero-200: a hybrid-electric tilt-wing platform built to connect the unconnected with cost-effective, reliable supply missions.
Our aircraft features:
🔸Full VTOL: No runway required, perfect for isolated areas.
🔸200 km range with 20 kg payload with room for more: Carry critical supplies over long distances.
🔸Sustainable hybrid-electric power: Reducing emissions even in challenging environments.
🔸Swiss-engineered reliability: Designed for real-world operations in rugged conditions.
🔸Smart integration with existing systems: Optimize logistics across the supply chain without replacing infrastructure.
Whether it’s medical supplies to mountain villages, spare parts to offshore platforms, or daily necessities to remote industrial camps, Aero-200 delivers when roads and runways don’t.

One week. Two countries. Our Aero-200 keeps moving.
After a demo flight in Dübendorf, we’re now testing in Västervik, Sweden. Each flight adds kilometres, experience, and insights to our growing programme. Across borders and schedules, the Aero-200 is steadily advancing, proving that progress comes from consistent testing and real-world flights.
Thanks to Västervik Drone Science Park for supporting us with the test infrastructure and @Savback Helicopters for their support.

A 5 kg spare part can shut down a multi-million-dollar operation. Not because it is expensive, but because it is missing.
In remote energy sites, industrial facilities, or distributed infrastructure networks, the real cost of logistics is downtime. When a critical component does not arrive on time, crews wait. Assets remain idle. Schedules tighten. Revenue is affected. The impact compounds quickly.
Hybrid-electric tilt-wing drones offer a different approach to time-critical logistics. By combining vertical takeoff with efficient forward flight, they remove infrastructure constraints while maintaining long-range performance.
For commercial operators, this means:
• Faster response to urgent part deliveries
• Reduced operational interruption
• Greater supply chain resilience
• More predictable planning across distributed assets

At Dufour Aerospace, continuous improvement is part of our daily work:
🔸Engineers work directly on the aircraft to refine system integration and performance
🔸Components and subsystems are tested repeatedly to support predictable behaviour in real operations
🔸Flight testing results feed back into design, software, and operational procedures
Progress in uncrewed aviation is built through consistent improvement. Behind every Aero-200 flight is a team of engineers refining systems, validating design choices, and improving the aircraft step by step. From hands-on integration work to detailed inspections and system checks, this is where reliability and operational readiness are developed.
This ongoing engineering effort supports the transition from development to routine operations.

Last month, the team carried out a dedicated test day as part of ongoing flight testing of our aircraft.
The focus was on aircraft performance and controllability, avionics verification and system-readiness checks. The flight tests were used to confirm current performance, identify deviations and collect data for further adjustments.
Progress on our aircraft is based on structured testing and iteration. Repeated validation is required to verify design choices, reduce technical risk and prepare the aircraft for regular operation.
Each test cycle moves the Aero-200 closer to stable, repeatable operations.
