We’re saddened to learn a member of our LGBTQ+ community was among the U.S. servicemembers killed in the Iran war last weekend.
Sgt. Angel Rampersad’s family described her as a “gentle giant,” a “defender and friend,” and said she “stood up for those who couldn’t fight for themselves.” We honor Sgt. Rampersad, who made the ultimate sacrifice, and our hearts are with her family, friends, neighbors, and Ozone Park community.
Every day, LGBTQ+ servicemembers like her continue to serve this nation with courage, distinction, and honor—even as military leaders attempt to erase their service, question their dignity, and shame them out of the ranks.
We owe them more than gratitude—we owe them a military worthy of their sacrifice.
One of the most moving moments I have ever seen at a rally.
This footage came after President Trump acknowledged the family of deceased 1st Lt. Tyler Feehan.
Having just met them at Tyler's dignified transfer ceremony in Dover, President Trump offered Tyler's mother Shari, father Stephen, and uncle David a ride back to their home in Atlanta on Air Force One.

Our thoughts are with Anne’s family, friends and fans during this time of tremendous loss.
Murray State Coach Dan Skirka’s opening statement after the Racers season ends here in the College World Series. Wow.
“One of my wife’s favorite movies is ‘A League of Their Own’, they say there is no crying in baseball. You can throw that out the window.” - @dskirka 🥹
Gerry Glasco when asked about the Canady and NIL:
“When you watch Ohio state football you never hear them talking NIL. I wonder why we talk about it for a female athlete? Look at the exposure Texas tech has gotten with her on the national stage. why is it different for a female Athlete to be payed a million than a male athlete getting three or four million. I found it almost insulting how much they talked about it watching broadcasts. That’s not right it shouldn’t be that way.”
