Which profession is hardest for a foreign-trained professional to enter and practice in the West?
Answer: Medicine. Why? Common sense. You simply can't entrust the lives and health of your citizens to someone whose training and competence haven't been thoroughly tested. That's why the West has a rigorous, multi-stage licensing process, followed by demanding residency requirements before a foreign-trained doctor can practice independently.
Compare that to India. We have people scoring minus 40 marks who should ideally be banned from ever appearing for medical entrance exams, yet are currently becoming doctors. A profession that deals with life and death, have lowest margin of error, and therefore should demand the highest level of competency, has become one of the biggest laboratories for affirmative action. Really sad state of affairs.
By the way, Atal Bihari Vajpayee brought Reservations in Government Job Promotions by overturning Supreme Court Ruling.
NDA Government passed multiple constitutional amendments to overturn restrictive Supreme Court rulings and reinforce reservation in government job promotions.
> Indian rupee is worst performing currency in Asia. Depreciated even more than Pakistani rupee in recent times
> Indian stock market replaced Indonesia at being the least prefered market in Aisa as per BoA
> FIIs are leaving Indian market like Industry and people left Bihar under Lalu Raj in 90s.
But Finance Minister is not getting replaced because top leaders know that above things about economy don't matter, only thing matters is whether she can collect enough tax from taxpayers to fund freebies for election.
Rodri was so clear in his desire to join Barça over Madrid, that there’s literally no one else in the race lol. It’s slow because it can be. No bidding wars, zero jeopardy.
Enjoy Tchouameni 👍
Supreme Court has issued notice to the Bar Council of India (BCI) seeking a response on a plea filed by NALSAR against two Circulars issued by BCI yesterday that received major backlash.
A bench led by CJI Surya Kant said that if students want to protest lawfully, the BCI had no business to interfere. The Court has agreed to hear the plea.
“BCI has nothing do with this. We are with you. Students have written a letter to me. It's a dialogue between students and me. Who are they to unnecessarily issue a circular?
When I was in college, I was actively involved in student activities. Sometimes, even if they are saying the wrong thing, if they are lawfully raising their voice, it must be allowed”, the CJI said.
The plea was mentioned by Senior Advocate K. Parameshwar.

Every Parliament session should have one week for "What I Did for My Constituency."
Every MP should show what they did in the last quarter with data and facts.
Parliament is for work, not for fights, poems or shayaris.
So, show us your work!
