Ok following up on this. 1). Watching the films on all platforms, not just Netflix. 2). Before I was adding in nominated films; now I am only doing winning films. 3). I think in each review, I will list what award the film won. That way it may explain the rating better.

The Merry Old Soul. 7/10. Nominated for short subject (cartoon). Was cute and fun until the last 30 seconds then it turned a little gruesome. Is this approved for children?? Definitely a pre-code film.
