Today’s Linda Mwananchi rally at Shianda Market was a welcome demonstration of political tolerance and maturity. I am pleased that no one attacked me, nor was anyone given an opportunity to use the microphone to make the usual personal remarks or label me a psychiatric patient.
I was also encouraged by Governor George Natembeya’s invitation for me to join the Linda Mwananchi team and take up the number 7 position. I appreciate the gesture and take it in good faith.
In the spirit of unity, I therefore call for a ceasefire and give Senator Edwin Sifuna the green light to pursue his political ambitions, whether for the presidency or any other position he may aspire to.
I will equally be reaching out to the Linda Mwananchi team for a handshake, because despite our political differences, we remain one team with a common interest: **Team Wantam.**
Let us embrace dialogue, respect, and political tolerance as we move forward. 🤝

People who spend long periods of time at home and slowly lose the desire to go outside often think they're just resting. But psychologically, many of them are experiencing something called mental rumination. It's a state where the brain starts slowing down while the number of thoughts inside keeps increasing and the motivation to do anything slowly disappears. The mind gets stuck in the past, worries about the future and burns itself out. This isn't laziness, it's a nervous system stuck in survival mode. And the longer it lasts, the more distant normal life begins to feel. And the difficult part is that you usually can't escape it through one massive burst of motivation. And sometimes, recovery starts with just one small step.
Parents might look OK on the outside but hakunanga kitu hukua stressful like their daughter kunona na kuzeekea kwa boma bila kupata bwana aende aanzishe familia yake uko mbali and only be bringing grandkids home for visiting.
