What a beautiful video.
A mother and calf fell into a water tank. Both were rescued but during rescue the calf got separated from mother. Kurseong division staff brilliantly tracked the mother. It took 7 hours but they reunited them.
Reaction of mother in last !! Gods work.
this is shameful behaviour by @ForestRajasthan . This is also in violation of the Hon'ble Supreme Court's order of prohibiting mobile phones in safari zones.
Ranthambore: A Glimpse of “Dedicated” Officers and Corruption
I want to show you all a glimpse of the hardworking officers and the corruption in Ranthambore. These people are constantly accused of corruption and illegal safaris. Look at the level of shamelessness here the very officers who try to project themselves as honest and wildlife lovers forbid such illegal safaris, yet they break the protocols made for wildlife protection and allow their favourites illegal entry into the jungle.
This is a video from Ranthambore’s Zone No. 4, in the Semli area, which was illegally shot inside the park on this year. At that time, this core zone area was restricted for common people. The man seen in this video is Vijay Singh Meena, who is (or was) associated with a hotel called “Big Cat Safari”. The ladies with him belong to a very large industrial house linked to the steel business. These people are filming tigress T-111 (Shakti) during the monsoon season, sitting inside a patrol new Mahindra canter,
Such people, with the collusion of officers, have ruined this park. The reality is that this year not a single cub has been allotted a new number, whereas for the past five years, new cubs were continuously being given identities. If there is honesty in monitoring and a sense of responsibility towards work among the staff or officers, such irresponsible acts will not happen.
I would like to appeal to all the officers of this park whether they belong to the IFS lobby or the RFS lobby please do not ruin this park.
I first went to Ranthambore in my childhood to see tigers. At that time, even identifying a tiger was difficult for me. And today, I have not gone to this park for the last five years. Where there is no alertness and awareness for wildlife, a wildlife lover will not even desire to go.
Hon’ble Chief Minister @BhajanlalBjp and central environment and forest minister @byadavbjp please take cognizance of this. Transfer these incompetent officers and staff from here and appoint an honest officer. #wildlifeawareness #ranthambhoretigerreserve #bigcatprotection #tigerinwild #nontourismzonetigers
A new kind of scam happened with me yesterday. Booked an Uber from T2. Approx price was 640. When I reached home, I was charged 1240. The driver scammed by adding MCD toll of 500. Upon complaint Uber refunded 600. Action needed against driver! @Uber@Uber_India
@GabbbarSingh weren't you the one that praised quick delivery apps and held this shi88y convenience to be better than the standard of living in New York.
Missing for Weeks: Cheetah Nirva, Ranthambore Tiger RBT-2512 and a Second Dispersing Tiger Who Will Answer if Poachers Have Struck Again in the Kuno Landscape?
My concern has now grown after the mass-level poaching of leopards in the Shivpuri–Kuno landscape. The same alarm bells are ringing for female cheetah Nirva and the two tigers
RBT-2512 that came from Ranthambore and another tiger that crossed the Chambal from Karauli towards Morena.
Female cheetah Nirva has been missing for the last 25 days. At the same time, the male cub of Sultana T-107, RBT-2512, has also been missing for two months. In these two months, no Kuno forest staff has had a direct sighting of this tiger, nor have any scats or pugmarks been found.
Prima facie, I suspect that this organised poaching network may have treated female cheetah Nirva and both these male tigers as a source of income and killed them. If this turns out to be the case, who will take responsibility? Will the officials responsible be punished, or will they also escape?
I request the Rajasthan government to speak with the Madhya Pradesh government and immediately order an investigation into this matter.
In the case of cheetah Nirva as well, shortcomings of the Kuno administration have come to light. When this female cheetah’s radio collar was already giving broken signals, why was it not replaced?
The senior officer here has no control over his language. He addresses people who raise genuine demands as “dimagi naxals.” And this same officer, who daily sings his own praises, gets 4–5 papers to publish his self-glorification.
Please consider it necessary to reply to all these points. #leopardkilling #poachersganginkuno #cheetahnirvamissing #kunonationalpark #bigcatprotection #ranthambhoretigerreserve
