In Year 1 as part of our Education and Aspirations week activities, we have made a fact file about David Lammy who we have chosen as our Haringey Hero.
As part of our R.E. Arts Day, Year 1 have been exploring the value of Hope in an abstract way. We have spoken about we hope for as a collective and as individuals. Then through art we used different colours to inspire us and show this.
Today Year 1 have been exploring the outside environment of the school. We are currently learning about plants in Science and have found some interesting creatures who have made a home in the flower beds.

Yr1 have had a busy day in Maths today. We have been comparing numbers up to 20 using ‘less than’, ‘greater than’ and ‘equal to’. Some children even went beyond 20 when they were challenged to think of two numbers of their choosing, to compare.
