Spanish pilot pranks Argentina fans into thinking they won the World Cup, causing the cabin to go wild.
Passengers were seen jumping from their seats as the pilot made the announcement.
"Both teams gave it their all, but unfortunately, only one can win a World Cup final. We wanted to congratulate our fellow Argentinians," he said.
After the cabin cheered, the pilot said, "Because Spain has won the World Cup," according to Spanish outlet La Vanguardia.

Absolutely horrible day to be flying.
I count 60+ planes waiting to take off right now at JFK 😮
About 30 waiting at Newark.
Mind you, it’s 10pm and most of these planes have been waiting on the tarmac for hours.
Not to mention ~80% of LGA flights either canceled or delayed today
The ripple effects will be felt for a few days…

NYC air quality is currently at 270 —that's in the "Very Unhealthy" range for everyone. Researchers have found that every few hours spent outside at this level is roughly the equivalent of smoking a cigarette.
Stay indoors with windows closed. But if your home doesn't have air conditioning, don't tough out the heat. Get to a cool place like a library, a cooling center, or an air-conditioned friend's or neighbor's home. Heat is the more immediate danger, so cooling off comes first.
If you must be outside, consider wearing an N95 or KN95 mask— free masks are available at https://t.co/LFL4YI4GdM.
Please check on neighbors, especially older adults, young children, and anyone with asthma or heart or lung conditions. Days like this hit them hardest.
