As part of the final preparations to bring the Velana New Terminal into operation, we have successfully conducted a real-time aircraft turnaround simulation exercise.
During this simulation, we tested the Advanced Visual Docking Guidance System (A-VDGS) along with the Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) using Maldivian Airlines’ wide-body A330 and narrow-body A320 aircraft.
