असम पुलिस की स्पेशल टास्क फोर्स (STF) ने पाकिस्तान इंटेलिजेंस ऑपरेटिव (PIO) को संवेदनशील सुरक्षा जानकारी लीक करने के आरोप में एक और व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार किया है।

आरोपी की पहचान 39 वर्षीय रितेश कुमार सिंह के रूप में हुई है, जो बिहार के बेगूसराय का रहने वाला है। पुलिस ने उसे गुवाहाटी के सतगांव इलाके में एक किराए के मकान से पूछताछ के लिए पकड़ा था, जिसके बाद उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया।

पुलिस सूत्रों के मुताबिक, रितेश को मुख्य आरोपी अभिषेक कुमार सिंह की कथित तौर पर मदद करने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। अभिषेक को रविवार को इसी मामले में गिरफ्तार किया गया था। यह मामला STF PS केस नंबर 09/2026 के तहत दर्ज है।

पश्चिम बंगाल: सिलीगुड़ी में गाय चोरी के शक में भीड़ ने शाहिद अख्तर और शाद मोहम्मद को पीट-पीटकर जान ले ली।

रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, माटीगाड़ा के ताराबाड़ी इलाके में भीड़ ने एक पिकअप वैन में आग लगा दी और उसके चालक उत्तर दिनाजपुर निवासी शाहिद अख्तर पर पत्थर से हमला कर दिया, जिससे उसकी मौके पर ही मौत हो गई।

वहीं दूसरी गाड़ी में सवार हरियाणा निवासी शाद मोहम्मद की बागडोगरा के धीमल बस्ती में भीड़ ने बुरी तरह पिटाई कर दी, जिससे घायल शाद मोहम्मद ने नॉर्थ बंगाल मेडिकल कॉलेज एंड हॉस्पिटल में इलाज के दौरान दम तोड़ दिया।

पुलिस (ACP ईस्ट अनिर्बान मजूमदार) के अनुसार, माटीगाड़ा, बागडोगरा और पानीघाटा थाना क्षेत्रों में फैले इस घटनाक्रम में मामला दर्ज कर हिंसा में शामिल लोगों तथा मवेशी चोरी के आरोपों की विस्तृत जांच की जा रही है।
