Former Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe wrapped up Al Jazeera English’s ‘Head to Head’ in style🔥

The Al Jazeera interview, I felt was not balanced. The host was conducting an interrogation as opposed to an interview or discussion. I haven’t watched his other interviews so far. So perhaps this is his usual style?
It’s one thing to ask the hard questions but another to interrogate. I noticed he doesn’t let the guest speak or finish what he is saying especially if the response of the interviewee is not to his liking.
It was uncomfortable to watch as he shouts most of the time and seems agitated. He even misinterprets some things which are being said. So he clearly doesn’t want to “listen” or comprehend.
I agree certain questions were pertinent. but it’s disrespectful to bring someone on your show and not let him speak.
Some of his questions/ remarks were merely based on allegations and he seemed clueless on certain facts.
Has he treated guests or world leaders from powerful countries like this too? Asking because I haven’t watched any of his shows. Please enlighten me.
Having said this, the questions on certain matters were fair and relevant. However I don’t think international media should interrogate on matters that don’t concern them. Unless it does? We have a legal system and other authorities to do justice for matters which take place In our own country and our citizens can always chose what and who is best for Sri Lanka.
We are a flawed county, no doubt. We needed greater accountability and a fairer and efficient system. There is a ton Of work to be done. And many wrongs that need answers.
There are many wrongs committed by other powerful countries too. But are they always questioned equally?

"Anyone who thinks the American Dream is dead, look right here. You're talking to a first-generation Indian kid who is about to lead the law enforcement community in the greatest nation on God's Earth."
@SriLankaTweet@priyatharshan1 Enough is enough - of saving politicians who these small guys can destroy..@anuradisanayake we've had enough of the era where a someone can get shot in the WITNESS Stand!!!!!!!! you need audit whoever was in charge of security of the Courts !!!!!
Looks like the Sri Lanka Police treat suspects differently. Some are snatched on the road, dragged away and thrown behind bars while others are given luxury treatment. Bravo @anuradisanayake@Dr_HariniA
Often the difference between what is miserable and that which is spectacular lies is the leap of our faith… https://t.co/g1a37Rp0Y8 via @selfmusing#SushantSinghRajput
I don’t know.
Not only do some people think it is normal, they genuinely think you are a right-wing extremist for opposing this.
And then there are those who just stay silent about it because they don’t want to rock the boat. 😳
