It's time to leave Houston #ARMTRACER No words can explain the experience @armnewsteam. Most awatied winter🌡❄ is ahead to analyze terabytes of collected data.🤓
Thank you @MJensenCloudSci, @markspychala,
David Oaks, Gabi Pessoa, Daniel Bahrt for providing excellent experience!
People of #ARMTRACER@sabinkasparoglu a graduate student from NCSU is part of the Particle Flux Measurements during TRACER campaign. She wins the Ironman award being in the field since late May! @armnewsteam
Reporting from #ARMTRACER : We continue observing and data collection to gain more information on new particle formation events at #ARM site.
Such an amazing view; convective clouds surround our particles 🌤☁️

Quite a show this morning from La Porte. First the waning crescent moon accompanied by Venus at dawn followed by a beautiful example of anticrepuscular rays over our #ARMTRACER site in #houstontx.
The weather doesn't always cooperate - even if you're a researcher studying it. Michael Jensen @BrookhavenLab and his fellow scientists on the @armnewsteam TRACER project want gray convective clouds, but Mother Nature doesn't always deliver: https://t.co/sFyKlHmDfu
Hello summer!😊
If you are ready, let's explore the impacts of NPF events on cloud processes from tiny particles to huge convective clouds!

June 7, 2022: So far so well. We have already collected data for two weeks! The weather warms up, and we look forward to seeing how it promotes New Particle Formation at #ARMTRACER.

Proud moment as a PI of m^3s lab! Tyler Prine was selected as an Outstanding Junior AEM Student. His research focus is compressible turbulent mixing in m^3s. I was honored by my CFD course students for the Outstanding Student Opinion of Instruction in my first year as faculty.
Please spread the word! I'm looking for Ph.D. students in my group to work on high-fidelity turbulence simulations for Fall 2022. For more information, contact me at [email protected] with your CV.
