Grade-IV employees already handle major technical and office work in schools, yet face unfair treatment. We request your urgent intervention—withdraw the night duty order and increase our reservation. We are government employees, not animals. Kindly address our grievances.

@himantabiswa @ranojpeguassam Honorable Chief Minister Sir, yesterday the Samagra Shiksha department issued an order stating that all chowkidars must perform night duty, which is absolutely impossible for chowkidars like us to fulfill under any circumstances. Furthermore, during your first tenure, you gave appointments stating that Grade 4 employees are highly skilled and in no way inferior to teachers. In most schools, ADRE Grade 4 employees are running the technical and official work of the office. Meanwhile, the senior officials are benefiting from this. Therefore, I humbly request you and seek your intervention. Performing night duty is by no means possible for us. Let our reservation be increased. We are government employees, that is true, but we are treated in such a manner. Are we humans or animals? Therefore, we draw the kind attention of the Chief Minister and the Honorable Education Minister towards these grievances of ours.Thank you.

We therefore express our hope to the Honorable Chief Minister that a post of 'Junior Assistant' be created for every Upper Primary school (such as ME or MV schools), as there is a significant workload involved in their operations. We hope that the Honorable Chief Minister will not disappoint us in this regard. Furthermore, since the Honorable Education Minister stated some time ago that no further Class IV staff would be directly recruited in the Education Department, and given that all ADRE Class IV employees possess the requisite educational qualifications and demonstrate high proficiency in their work, we request that our positions be upgraded to that of Junior Assistant.
