Connor Bedard dislocated his right shoulder just under seven months ago. Now, he very likely dislocated his left shoulder too.

- Basically, this is the exact same injury that Bedard had in his right shoulder, except worse.
- The fact that the injury was worse (in some way) is the reason he required surgery.
- The fact that he had surgery lowers the recurrence rate, so theoretically it makes it less likely that it happens again to that shoulder. It doesn't make it impossible that it happens again.
- No, surgeons won't just operate on the other shoulder too since they're doing surgery anyway. This was almost definitely surgery done ONLY on the left shoulder, not on the previously injured right shoulder. If the other shoulder is stable, they won't mess it up again.
- Connor Bedard won't step onto a sheet of ice until his surgeon clears him with imaging and with a clinical assessment.
