Comparing never helps.
Your situation can be worse but it’s not. It can be better but it’s also not.
Just focus on what is in front of you.
Do everything you can with what you have no matter where you are.
Dying is not the worst thing.
When you die, your consciousness ends and so does your worries.
What’s worse than dying?
Being afraid to die.
Because that only means:
You failed to seize the opportunity to live.
That’s why, fear the fear of death.

You’re just one of the billions of living beings that will come and go in this planet.
So make your time count.
Give your best.
Seize the present.
And live — live while you’re still among the living.

Those who are busy doing it has no time to talk about it.
They let their action speak for itself.
Be careful who you look up to to. Are you looking up to that person because of their words or their actions?
You appreciate things more when it takes longer time to obtain.
Why?
Because we are used to instant gratification.
When we have things in an instant, we tend to neglect it instead of appreciating it.
Seize every moment you spend with your family.
You will realize as you grow older, it will be less frequent.
They are not asking a lot.
They are just asking for your time. And your presence is the greatest gift you can ever give them.
Be grateful they are still around.
Do not wait before you make things happen.
Do not wait for the perfect moment.
Do not wait before you have all the tools.
Do not wait to feel the motivation.
The more you wait, the more it will not come.
So stop waiting.
Get your ass to work.
That’s just it folks.
You are not special.
Your problems don’t make you special.
Your struggles will never make you special.
Do not strive to be special.
The moment you think you are special is the moment you feed your ego.
You don’t feed your ego. You annihilate your ego.
Do not give in to the moment that calls for weakness.
No more doing it later.
No more complaining.
No more blaming.
No more justifying your conscious shortcomings.
No more looking back.
NO MORE.
Keep in mind the long-term pleasure. Ditch the momentary pleasure.
When you feed the ego, you bring yourself closer to destruction.
Ego will make you blind.
Ego will stop your growth.
Ego will limit your circle.
Ego will engulf you in a bubble making you feel special and one of a kind when you’re actually not.
The greatest act of being ungrateful is by neglecting the present.
Ask yourself, have you been obsessing over the future or are you still stuck in the past?
If yes, then take a step back.
Inhale. Exhale.
This is what is in front of you. Focus on it. Be grateful for the now.
There are many ways for you to die at this very moment.
But here you are alive, reading this.
If things are not going well, control what you can and let go of what you can’t.
If things are going well, help someone out there who is struggling.
And be grateful, you’re alive.
@efethecount The reason why I want to earn more than I need, to help those who have less. Just do small gestures from here and there showing that we can make this world less horrible than we think it is.
