@brianlilley The mood feels similar to when Harris was anointed to run in place of Joe. Delusional Liberal base thinks it's a game changer. Reality is that the issue isn't just Trudeau; it's failed Liberal policies. Carney/Freeland are tied to those policies. They don't represent change.
@PeterDyakowski@JohnPaulDanko We need the City to start focussing on cutting costs...not generating revenue. @PeterDyakowski - It's never too early to start planning a mayoral run.
@govt_corrupt He's getting his pension....hopefully that will be enough for him to bow out. He'll land a cushy job at some left-leaning law firm in BC and we ideally never hear from him again.
@KEriksenV2 I am looking forward to the carney-freeland mudsligging thays about to being. Having crazy karina in the mix too makes it even more entertaining. JT's closest advisors trying to convince us they represent change...political comedy at its best.
@Martyupnorth_2 The votes we are vying for are middle class centrists. If UBI were to be implemented, it would be coming out of the pockets of those voters. That won't win them over.
@andrewaperez@DrJacobsRad@MarkJCarney Simple reality is that none of the centrist voters the LPC is trying to trick into voting for them are going to be influenced by the Daily Show. What's next for Carney? Is he going on The View?
@kinsellawarren Chretien is pragmatic & reasonable. He knows CPC is more aligned with his policies than LPC - fiscal responsibility, trade/economic growth, good governance, national unity, opposition to overreach on enviro policy. Wish he'd endorse the CPC rather than worry about the lost LPC.
@stphnmaher Its matters only because she has been less than truthful. The issue becomes her credibility. If she had said, "yes, i signed up and supported a moderate centrist. So what?", there would be no issue.
@DrJacobsRad With Joly and Leblanc bowing out, there's clearly backroom negotiation going on. Libs will end up with a 2-horse race (Freeland/Carney) or unanimously supporting their new supreme leader. Only matter of time before Gould/Anand/Clark drop out. Then the endorsements will begin.
@GuntherEagleman FYI for my American friends: This is Elizabeth May, leader of the Green Party. If she were an American, her level of intellect would qualify her for nothing more than a seat on The View. She is a left wing ideologue and does not speak for or represent the views of Canadians.
