@RaulJuncoV Not so much opensource but a rock solid solution is Solace, there are both software and hardware based event brokers. We’ve been using the solution for close to 10 years and works very well. Low latency and very high throughput.

@kelseyhightower We’ve been using solace for our main distributed message bus (or event broker as they are calling it now). Ability to promote direct messages to guaranteed (queue) messages helped a lot in moving on-prem streaming into GCP.

@scott_lowe @plex I’ve tried running plex media server on a FireTV about 2 years ago and experience was not great, decode failures and a clunky interface. Switched to a nvidia shield, and that’s working great so far.
