the moment chan realised once again that there's something deeply wrong with key 💔 all this while it's just key having nightmares that chan can't decipher but here key literally dissociated right in front of her eyes and all chan could do was just try to pull key back to her senses 😢 WHY ARE EMIBONNIE SO GOOD AT THIS

strictly personal opinion but i honestly don't mind at all if they don't really specify what's actually wrong with key or even her mom. we know they're not well, we know they went to therapy. that's enough details.
in real life we don't expect to know each and every details of someone who's unwell. sometimes they don't wanna tell, sometimes it's just too complicated, sometimes it's simply too hard to understand. what we know is they're both unwell and key's mom decided to end her life while key is still trying to survive. she was trying to live a normal life and maybe if chan's mom didn't add on to the unnecessary stress, she would eventually open up to chan. or maybe she wouldn't at all. that's the thing about human, we're unpredictable.
and i feel like the series is trying to show the real side of it. not everyone is gonna open up so easily. similar to chankey's relationship now. just because you don't know everything about someone yet (important keyword: yet) doesn't mean you cannot love them. like it or not some people fall in love fast, some takes years to actually fall for someone. one could debate that the former isn't actually love but who are we to dictate what people feel, unless it's like criminally/morally wrong or something lol

ep 7 was really heavy on key’s past and how she’s still trying to put on a facade for chan.
it’s clear how little key thinks of herself. she might acknowledge that she’s chan’s girlfriend but she can’t seem to step out of the need to seem perfect and fine in front of chan. she doesn’t know how to love herself and treat herself as chan’s equal.
she believes she’s not good enough. she believes her issues are not good enough for chan to bear. she has grown up thinking that she is to blame for everything…
oh key, you never deserved to be put through all that. i hope you get the healing that you need soon :”)

we know that bonnie’s an exceptional actress from what we’ve seen but wow im really even more awe of bonnie’s acting after this episode. i will never not be so proud supporting her fr.
it genuinely feels like im pulled into every emotion key feels. every time her hands curl into a fist and starts shaking, every time her breath becomes uneven, every time her eyes start darting around, every tensed muscle in her body. fml it was like i was experiencing what key feels and not just watching her. not to mention her tears. bro im feeling every bit of key’s fears and loneliness this episode
as much as i would love for key to be honest and vulnerable with chan, i get that this kind of trauma is not easy to share with anybody.
how do you even begin to explain? how do you talk about it without fearing that you’re burdening the other person with something so personal and heavy? how do you do all this without the other person only seeing you as someone to be pitied on?
key used to go to a psychiatrist and it got better but being in such close proximity with someone that she loves is triggering her trauma again. maybe when she asked chan in ep 6 if they would work out, she was thinking about all this. about how the person she loved so dearly ended up with such a twisted fate and that it would happen again.
