Rapido just tried to stop me from deleting their app and I almost didn’t mind. A subtle support prompt appeared in the iOS menu:
“Bugs or issues? Let us know.”
“Don’t remove our app!”
No popup. Just empathy and timing.

That’s not default iOS behavior. It’s custom UX embedded inside the system menu.
Why it works:
→ Empathy over guilt
→ Contextual, not intrusive
→ Offers feedback, not just retention
