I'm not up to date on the Jimmy Kimmel show ratings. But im pretty sure that's why he got fired not because of what he said. But if it is because of what he then Disney or ABC or whoever owns is a private company and can fire whoever they want for whatever reason. Freedom of speech doesn't apply to private companies. I don't agree with it but that's what it is. I am a libertarian and I believe private companies and individuals have every right do say and do what they please with their products and speech.
