Where OHA Candidates Stand on the Building of the Thirty Meter Telescope atop Mauna Kea. #TMT#MaunaAWakea **Flyer has been updated** mahalo @KaLahuiHawaii I will NOT be voting for ANY TMT supporter PERIOD. I recommend the many who ask me the same. NO 2 ALL TMT PROPONENTS. SEE:
We welcome the day when we no longer have to be in this unenviable position of reiterating the harms that persist from US nuclear testing in our islands and asking for what was promised to alleviate ongoing suffering.

I’m hearing the Navy is making plans to attempt to “filter” and “rinse” out some of its wells and lines that have contaminated the aquifer.
They need somewhere to dump the water they have poisoned. After filtering they want to release the water into Halawa Stream

Due to overlapping local, state and federal regulations, Oahu's next landfill is going to be over a drinking water aquifer. But the Honolulu Board of Water Supply said that's an issue. Because all landfills eventually leak.

Senator @KFevella testifying before HNL City Council that military preventing press and politicians from visiting military schools to check pollution issues. Calls for a disaster declaration #ShutDownRedHill
One of the biggest political obstacles to demilitarization in Hawai’i is the Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber has a Military Affairs Council which lobbies for the interests of the “defense industry” and has spent big $$$ to fight community efforts to decommission Red Hill.
Hawaiians are not radical. We just want access to clean water. Why have we had to spend generations fighting that for basic human right across the entire pae ‘aina? Don’t allow the media to box us in as radical, we demand justice for threatening the lives of our lahui.
You CANNOT tell me that the cyber attack on DaBus, Handivan, Queens hospital, and Board of Water was all coincidental AFTER it was announced that the US Military has been killing us for MONTHS.
Also wanted to note that the Council took a hour-long recess to allow for representatives from the Navy, EPA or DOH to attend the meeting, but they did not show. Council Chair Tommy Waters expressed his disappointment and thought they should have attended.
@HawaiiDOH@hnlcitycouncil@BWSHonolulu The council today is considering two measures: Bill 48 which would not allow anyone to operate an underground storage tank that holds more than 100,000 gallons without approval from the city through a permit and Reso 21-276 which calls for the immediate removal of the fuel tanks
No one from the U.S. Navy, EPA or @HawaiiDOH will be appearing at the @hnlcitycouncil 's special meeting on the Red Hill water contamination. Only @BWSHonolulu's Ernie Lau came to speak. #cchnl#HInews
