After missing last week out of respect for our late Queen, veterans from @Sacro_FoN were back at it today, on Leg 6 of The John Muir Way, taking in some breathe taking scenery and iconic landmarks - another 10.04 miles in the bank, total now of 62.4 miles! Well done everyone π
FoN are deeply saddened at the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. The Queen has been the Commander-in-Chief of our Armed Forces and so Veterans feel this great loss. As the nation mourns and the world pays tribute, we offer our sincerest condolences to the Royal Family.

Usually our veterans learn how to sow, harvest & prepare healthy homegrown produce but today they showed of the rations that sustained them on exercise & operations!
We were also delighted to be visited by @UFForces and explain the work that both @Sacro_FoN & @GardenSacro do.
Today veterans from @Sacro_FoN were supported by serving soldiers (and officers) from @6SCOTS as they embarked on the 1st leg of The John Muir Way - a great effort by all involved - 11.3miles down, 122.7 miles to go; next leg will be on Tue 16 Aug.
