The sanctity of free and fair elections is pivotal to upholding democracy around the globe. I stand by calls from the @StateDept to investigate claims of election fraud or interference in Pakistan. Your vote is your freedom.

Fascinating dynamics in the #Pakistanelections with Imran Khan’s independents leading. They say it’s a landslide victory. Official results though show a tighter race. There complaints of vote tampering.
📣 Let's make a difference together for our beautiful Pakistan! 🇵🇰✨ Come out on 8th Feb and let your voice be heard through your vote. It's time to shape the future we want for our country.🗳️ Zulum ka badla Vote se!

#Pakistan🇵🇰 It is unacceptable that a person who holds more than 70% of the voting intentions in the country, a legitimate Prime Minister, peaceful and innocent of any crime, remains in prison and is barred from standing for election.
This situation violates the most basic democratic norms, the rule of law and the principle of separation of powers. The military establishment should refrain from interfering in the political affairs of civil society.
Mr Irman Khan (PTI leader and frontrunner) must be released immediately without charge and with full social, civil and political rights. #IHRF #ImranKhan #ReleaseImranKhan
The former prime minister of Pakistan writes from prison that his party is being unfairly muzzled, in a guest essay for The Economist https://t.co/6DBPaTgETY
Ji, Samar Bibi.
Please campaign hard because you need to - halat kharab di (although it's not going to help... #LaltainTabahDe).
Thank you for clarifying it's a provincial allocation. 4% of provincial GDP is Rs 600 bln. Current education budget is around Rs 300 bln (the highest percentage of any province).
An additional Rs 300 bln is almost equal to the entire salary bill of the province. I'm just telling you because I don't want the media to make fun of my cousin.
Let's say you find it. You must have worked out where it goes.
More teachers?
More schools?
Better salaries?
More opex? (call me and I'll explain what that is cuz)
There must be a plan beyond what the NGO wallahs told you.
PS. Just so you know, UNESCO benchmarks 4-6% of GDP, or 15 to 20% of public spending towards education. KP spends about 25%. Please hire a better finance and economic expert in your team. #EasyLoad economics doesn't cut it.
Good luck campaigning.
Amidst the highlight reels, here's a low moment. Depression is more than sad quotes—it's missed calls, unwashed dishes, pile of clothes. Why can’t we talk about real life struggles? 🌧️ #DepressionRealities
