Finding Peace

A Christian brother found himself in a very toxic marriage.
He went to his mother to complain about his wife and all the shades of hell he was passing through in the marriage
His mother listened to him silently until he was done
She then told him to return home and keep the peace at all costs until she visits him and his wife in a few weeks.
He went home and kept the peace as his mother instructed

He refused to engage his wife in any form of provocative endeavor
His wife found it strange that her husband was not returning aggression for aggression
They had both honed their aggressive skills in order to survive in their toxic marriage, and his sudden switch to "Man of Peace" was alien to her

She tried everything to provoke him
He resisted every bait
She didn't know how to be with a man who simply ignores or completely disregards her "pepperish nature"
It took all of two weeks for her to ask her husband for a discussion
She needed to know what was wrong
His silence was freaking her out

Her husband told her he had always wanted a peaceful and godly life, and had always lived a peaceful and godly life until he met her
He said he realised she has a restless spirit and was constantly spoiling for a fight with everybody

The neighbours, church members, colleagues at work (she had been suspended twice without pay for fighting with two of her colleagues at the office in the last year, and would have been sacked but for the intervention of her mentor and godfather, who got her the job)

Her husband said he began matching her energy so that he would not be consumed by her aggressive nature
Instructions given to her peacefully were often met with strong resistance
Questions posed to her with the expectation of a simple answer are often replied to with sarcasm or insults
He said he got tired of it and began giving it back to her because he, too, was capable of aggression when it was needed.

He said he, however, noticed that it was changing him.
Whenever he had minor disagreements with other people, he would escalate issues quickly and unnecessarily
He reminded her that she used to tell him he was too "quiet", too passive, too peaceful, too enduring, too docile, too accepting, and too allowing things to slide for the sake of peace in the first year of their marriage

She wanted him to be an attack dog, to give no quarter, to be a warrior like she is
He said his reputation as the reasonable one, which he had built for years before he met her, was thrown out of the window within a year of their marriage
People now know that he wouldn't take rubbish and would go to war at the slightest provocation.
It was draining and exhausting
He was tired of it.

His wife replied with her tone rising aggressively, "So you are calling me a bad wife, a troublemaker, a cantankerous woman, a narcissist, and a gaslighter. You sit there and label me right in my presence as a mad person who only causes chaos and disorder. You saw me this way before you married me.
I will not be insulted and called uncultured by a man who was everybody's doormat until I came into his life.
Was I not the one who successfully helped you chase away all your family members who used to come here every weekend, begging for money and draining your resources? Did you not thank me for it?
Suddenly, now I am the evil woman.
That is how you men behave. You have a hidden motive, you have a destination in mind, you are plotting something, and you are looking for an excuse to execute your plan.
Don't gaslight me so that you can feel good about the evil you want to do.
Like Jesus told Judas, What you have to do, please do quickly so that I can move on with my life. Rubbish"

When she was done, she stormed out of the room and slammed the door.
Her husband sighed, turned to his pillow, and slept.
He knew she would remain agitated all night, and he was resolved not to engage her whenever she was in that state anymore
She didn't know how else to relate to people.
Even the ones she was meeting for the first time.
It was always war.
"He didn't greet me properly." Was her remark when she met his boss
"She was looking at me with disdain." Was her remark when she met the gynaecologist for the first time
"Her outfit was too crass." Was her remark when she met his cousin
"He is a snob," Was her remark when she met his best friend
"She is proud." Was her remark when she met the pastor's wife

He could remember wondering how any woman could be so negative towards everything and everyone.
He could also remember wondering how, of all the men in the world, he was the one who had to marry her.

His wife slept on the couch that night.
Usually, he would have waited an hour or two until she calmed down before going to apologise to her in order to bring her back to their bed, but on this occasion, he didn't go after her.
He didn't see the need to.

His mother arrived at their house very early the next morning
Since his wife was the one in the sitting room, she was the one who heard his mother's voice and knock on the door.
She refused to leave the couch
She also didn't pretend to be asleep
She sat there and refused to move until his mother walked around the house to knock on his bedroom window.
He woke up, ran to the door, and was shocked to see his wife seated with her arms across her chest, puffed up like a volcano waiting to erupt.

Usually, he would not allow his mother in when his wife was in such a mood
He would stylishly step outside to talk to his mother while making an excuse like "My wife has a migraine and any sort of noise would disturb her. Can we take a drive or talk quickly in the compound?"
But he was tired of protecting her and covering up her combustible nature
He felt it was better if his mother saw the practical side of the conversation he had had with her several weeks before.

His mother came in and greeted his wife.
His wife hissed and rolled her eyes
His mother asked what was wrong
He kept quiet
His wife kept quiet
His mother read the room and said to her son, "Excuse us, let me have a discussion with my wife."

His wife roared with laughter and said, "Who do you people think you want to put in the middle? Me??
You must be joking.
Your son called you to come here and play good cop, bad cop with me, and you came.
Did he not tell you that I was not from a foolish lineage?
When you are done, both of you will bring out what you have planned so that everybody will know where they belong in this house"

When she was done, she sashayed into the room.
Her husband looked at his mother
His mother also looked at him
The next step to take would have been to call his wife's parents and report their daughter for disrespecting his mother, but he dared not do that.

His wife's mother is not pepper, she is teargas.
He had been privileged to go to the police station to bail out his wife's mother before.
She fought with a neighbour and blinded her in one eye.
He and his wife paid the hospital bill of the victim and the compensation the victim's family demanded so that the case would not be charged to the court.

It was a rabid dog situation
If you pity the dog, it will bite, and whoever it bites will die of rabies
If you kill the dog, people will accuse you of killing man's best friend.
His mother asked him if there had been any physical abuse in the marriage
He told her his wife had charged at him with a knife once, and that there was another time when they were driving to church, and she aggressively tried to take over the steering wheel in anger because he said something that infuriated her.

His mother told him to dress up and go to his office.
After he left, his mother went to the motor garage and rented a huge truck
She also got six strong men
She took them to the house and told them to pack everything belonging to her son into the truck

The wife was in the room when they started packing
She heard movement in the sitting room, opened her door, and saw what was going on
She could have tried to talk to her mother-in-law, call the church pastor, the neighbours, anybody to intervene, or she could have gone on her knees and begged her to give her a second chance to do better.

She stood and started telling the movers the things that belonged to her so that they would not make the mistake of taking her things along with those of her husband.
By 2 pm, they were done
She went back to her room as her mother-in-law led the truck to an unknown destination.
When her husband closed from the office that day, his mother was waiting for him
She took him to a new apartment she had secured for him
She said, "You didn't divorce that woman; I divorced her for you in order to preserve your life."

A week after their last fight, his wife reached out.
She wanted to talk
She wanted them to find a resolution
She wanted them to discuss as adults and see if things could be salvaged
He didn't respond to her calls and messages
She reached out to his colleagues at work and his friends, but they all ignored her
Their church pastor tried to make a case for her, but it fell on deaf ears
Where the tree had fallen, let it lie there said Solomon.
The marriage lasted three years; fortunately, they didn't have any children.

PS: You can choose not to be like your mother or your father
You can choose not to be aggressive
You can choose not to be a troublemaker
As much as it is within your power, be at peace with all men, says the Scriptures
Check these impulses
Check the toxicity
Put your bulldogness in check
The husbands of troublesome women often live on rooftops far away from their wives
The wives of troublesome men often raise the children alone for the sake of peace
People are not the problem; you are
Nobody is out to get you.
Choose to live a life of peace

In MARCH 2025, I experienced first-hand Angels in action as they fished out a lady who duped my clients of over 2 Million Naira and took off since November *2023* .

I have been standing on God’s promises of restoration Amos 9:15 (things are going to happen so fast, your head will swim, one thing fast on the heels of another…)
Without any adverts, individual clients have been coming to me based on referrals…!!

Then a multi-national company that I did business with in *2021* reached out to me…. And boom, I was suddenly earning 6 figures!!

The jobs are just lining up: as I am finishing one order, there are several more waiting!!
WITHOUT advertisements, clients are finding me… It seems like the Angels are bringing them in…👌🏼💃🏼💃🏼

Between April and August, I have personally gifted over 1.5 million Naira in cash.

I’ve introduced several people to PSSBC and also personally sponsored TWO students to PSSBC…

I have been steadily paying off my business Debts and I am now able to set up a structured repayment plan for the remaining Business debts…

Love Is Key

The only emotion of the soul that the supernatural can work through and with in the life of a believer is love!
When Jesus taught us to love, he wasn't doing so to put us at a disadvantage in a wicked world!
Love is the advantage of the believer
Love produces good, goodness, righteous deeds, and godliness. These are the very qualities the Holy Spirit thrives on!
The motive of love is always the heart of the Father
Love operates upon a necessary assumption that everybody in the world needs it, regardless of whether such a fellow knows this or not
Love is not reactive
You don't get to love those who are your relatives and are nice to you alone!
You don't get to dislike the man who stole your car, killed your close relative, cheated your brother, jilted your sister, antagonized you at work, cursed you, or went into the occult because of you! 

Many of us believers have fallen for the heretic teaching and doctrine of some churches that have turned Christianity into paganism in the name of spiritual warfare
The name of Jesus had become a mere talisman to such people
They raise prayer points full of curses and attach the name of Jesus to it!
They appeal to the flesh and carnal Christians
They appeal to those desiring revenge, destruction, fight, battle, confrontation, and making war against the enemy.
To them, the counsel of Jesus is not good enough!
They have found a better way
They walk in the dark because they lack spiritual illumination

Many of their adherents remain in bondage after several deliverance sessions! Things never got better! The gospel has not been preached through them, and the souls in their churches remain in ignorance
There is no disciple, no General Overseer, No Prophet, Pastor, Priest, or Apostle whose revelation surpasses the revelation of Jesus!
Jesus is the son of God
Jesus is God incarnate
Jesus is the one through whom all things were made and without him was anything made that was made!
If Jesus says we must love
We will be very wise to walk in love!

17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
19 We love him, because he first loved us.
When you hear prayer points that are born of fear, you know in your guts that the person leading the prayer has not experienced the power of love through the Holy Spirit
When you see a believer with all sorts of prayer books declaring war on this and woe to that, such a believer has not been made perfect in love
His or her christian walk is still based on negative emotions of fear, hatred, torment, retaliation, protection against evil forces etc
For such people, the enemy they placed before themselves has become real!
All the books and spiritual materials they buy and consume testify to the manner of spirit within them.

Samaritan Opposition
51 As the time approached for him to be taken up to heaven, Jesus resolutely set out for Jerusalem. 52 And he sent messengers on ahead, who went into a Samaritan village to get things ready for him; 53 but the people there did not welcome him, because he was heading for Jerusalem. 54 When the disciples James and John saw this, they asked, “Lord, do you want us to call fire down from heaven to destroy them[b]?”

55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.
56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.
Did you see that?
Jesus didn't struggle to move on from rejection or to forgive the Samaritans! Love doesn't take mundane stuff to eart
The same fire Jesus rebuked James and John for daring to imagine, was the same fire many believers in many denominations today are calling down now on both real and imagined enemies all over the world.
Lack of knowledge has turned creatures of love into hate walkers!
They see the affliction of the enemy and they wanted to stop it but rather than ask to be taught how to go about it, they adopt a pagan mindset! Fire for Fire!!!! They are full of activities without concrete results to show for it because they have played into the hands of the enemy whose purpose was to kill, to steal and to destroy!
The spirit of love gives life and life more abundantly!
You cannot walk in the supernatural without the spirit of love!
Your results will not abide if you do so!
What is love?
Love here is a determination to be godlike in the world!
A deliberate mindset to set in order everything within your sphere of influence that is in chaos!
A determination to speak good, to see good, to hear good, to believe good and insist on establishing good whereever you see evil
A person who wants to heal the sick must have this mindset!
You cannot be full of hate and malice and desire to impart blessing on people! Whatever you will give must come out of the abundance of what you have in you
In your mind you must have a desire to see plants grow naturally, see things in order, see evil and eschew it. The first miracles you will ever walk as you grow in this will be around you. You will begin to notice the things that are out of order and you will desire to fix them!
Someone's children are not going to school, you have never noticed before but now you will pay attention! Some young teenager around you is pregnant and going through a hard time, a dog is trapped in between the road and needs to cross to safety, a begger desperately needs help, someone is sick and needs needs your financial assistance, something is on the road that could cause an accident, other drivers drove round it but you parked and removed it! You will just have this desire to set the world around you in order.
That is the baby step of walking in love
As you grow you begin to contemplate other challenges you see and you will bring them with you to the place of prayer! You will mention those issues to God in prayer not as a Christian duty but out of genuine concern
In many cases, whatever you can make right, you don't bother to pray about! You see yourself as the hand of God and you come to realise that when you help those people they will glorify the Lord and bless your God! It brings you joy in your heart to see people sharing testimonies of God's goodness through something you did for them!
You have become God's channel of blessing
When God looks at you, he looks at your heart!
1 Samuel 6:7
7 But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
How do i know what is inside your heart?
By your words!
If your prayer point is only about you, your well being, your family members, your enemies and your heart desires
You are not walking in love!
If once you earn money all you think about is Tithe to church and the rest for me! You are not walking in love
If you have become so sheltered, so cocooned that you no longer see those suffering and in need around you, you are not walking in love
If you get irrtated when people call you needing help, even if you have enough to spare or not, you are not walking in love
If you think the suffering of others even when it is deserved is Karma and a lost soul does not move you to tears because the person that died was a wicked soul, you are not walking in love
Love cannot accommodate hate, no matter how subtle!
Love does not take account of wrong, just as Jesus forgave those who crucified him and refused to be bitter over the injustice of his trial.
A fellow full of the Holy Spirit and walking in love will be a giant in the fourth dimension of the spirit.
He or she will be in constant communion with angels.
He or she will be invited to meetings at the royal court of heaven constantly.
He or she will walk in divine power.
He or she will not struggle to please the Lord.
He or she will not be in the school of the supernatural to gain the mastery spiritually so as to put his or her pastor in his place or work miracles for material gain like Gehazi!
Your motive will not be hypocritical
Your desire will be to see heaven on earth through you by the power of the Holy Spirit!
Love truly from your heart, let your words be sincere! 
Let your words and your actions be the same
The choices of life, not the compulsions reveal character!

Visualization

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee (Isaiah 60:1-2).

When, as a Christian, it seems like you’re under pressure at work, or there’s an unpleasant doctor’s report regarding your health, or your bank account is in red, don’t cry; don’t complain. Don’t fret or become despondent. Rather, get into your closet, and contemplate the glory of God. If it’s a financial challenge, declare that you’re the seed of Abraham. Abraham’s seed can’t be broke or poor! You’re the possessor of all things, because you’re an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Christ.

Times of challenges aren’t times for you to run helter-skelter, seeking help from man, no; trust in the Lord! He’s your help. If you have a financial need for example, declare, “I have all the money I require in the Name of Jesus; it comes to me by free course.” Make the declaration with faith, boldness and confidence, and it’ll be according to your word! Let nothing make you fret.
You’re called to manifest the glory of God. Despite the darkness and hardship in today’s world, you’re more than a conqueror. You’re a victor in Christ Jesus. You can never be disadvantaged. Christ in you is the hope of glory. Visualize yourself in the glory. Visualize yourself walking in the glory, carrying and manifesting the glory of God in your academics, in your job, health, family, finances, etc. Visualize the glory in your life.

The Bible talks about the sufferings of Christ and the glory that should follow (1 Peter 1:8-11).
8 Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, 9 for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.
10 Concerning this salvation, the prophets, who spoke of the grace that was to come to you, searched intently and with the greatest care, 11 trying to find out the time and circumstances to which the Spirit of Christ in them was pointing when he predicted the sufferings of the Messiah and the glories that would follow.
Right after the sufferings of Christ, a life of glory ensued! He suffered so that you’d live in the glory. Therefore, live and walk in the light of your righteousness, victory, success, dominion, health and prosperity in Christ Jesus, and say “no” to defeat, failure, weakness and the down-life.

“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”

The verse above shows us a vital principle of faith; you’ve got to see the unseen! You should be able to visualise what you desire; see it inside first. This is important because you can’t possess what you can’t see. Any change you desire that hasn’t first taken place in your spirit, or which you haven’t yet seen on the inside, will not manifest outwardly.
Abraham, the great patriarch of faith, had to first see the vision of God’s promise to him of becoming a father of many nations (Genesis 15:5-6).
As Joshua planned to attack Jericho, the Lord said to him, “…See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor” (Joshua 6:2). Jacob, when he was being cheated by his uncle, Laban, used his imaginative power to get plain coloured lambs to reproduce streaked, speckled, and gray-spotted (read the inspiring story in Genesis 30:25-43, Genesis 31:1-13).
He tells the spiritual side of what happened in Genesis 31:10: “And it happened, at the time when the flocks conceived, that I lifted my eyes and saw in a dream, and behold, the rams which leaped upon the flocks were streaked, speckled, and gray-spotted.”
These examples show how important it is for you to have the vision of your desire with a positive attitude, for the extent of your vision is the boundary of your blessing! Your imaginative power is your creative ability; you’ve got to “see the unseen”; you’ve got to see the way God sees.
Picture yourself living in the reality of what the Word says about you. Contemplate the level of success and victory you want to attain and see yourself functioning at that level.

Invest in Nigeria Now!

If you like, keep crying with your eyes closed. Keep refusing to see the turn Nigeria is making for the better.
Fill your mouth with complaints and criticism
Refuse to see the good of the land
Insist you have a messiah who is yet to come, who will give you free money while you don't do any work
Let your children ask you in twenty years' time where you were when this season of buying into the prosperity of Nigeria passed you by
When Solomon made Jerusalem so prosperous that silver became like stones in the city
The city still had beggars
The city still had those who were poor
The duty of any government is to provide a conducive environment
The duty of the citizens is to take advantage of it
No man or woman who has suffered to make wealth and live in wealth will want to put it in a sinking ship
The naysayers said, "The refinery is a dead-on-arrival project."
Some said it is only an instrument of government corruption and embezzlement
It has transformed the landscape of the energy sector gloriously
When it was launched and it became functional, even those who kept their money far away from Nigeria while observing from afar had to change their minds
The news of the expansion saw some heavyweights who already invested in the project because they know what it means for the future.
Invest in Nigeria now, those who do so shall prosper
I am not an advocate of any government or politician; I am fulfilling prophecy
I am calling on Christians and churches to gather money and invest
When Dangote lists his refinery on the Nigerian Stock Exchange, buy the shares
When people are cursing the president and the government officials, don't join them
If you must criticize, do so with your facts right and not out of sentiment
Don't let anyone gaslight you out of your blessings
This same Nigeria has long been spoken of as a land of great blessings and prosperity
When I was in the University, a prophecy went forth that as Africa looked like a gun, Nigeria is its trigger point, and the prosperity of Africa and the world will one day be centered around Nigeria.
You were here when things were hard, and the leaders of the nation "robbed" the nation into bankruptcy
You survived the cash crunch and petrol subsidy scams that made a few very rich, while you wallowed in poverty and complaints
You are here now, expecting manna to drop like rain from heaven
If you will be part of the story of Nigeria's turnaround, you must understand that we are in the season where we would plant and eat of the harvest
Invest in the process of reaching this one trillion dollar economy
The banks will become mega, invest in them
If you have been investing in consumption, take your money now and invest in production.
I know some folks will inevitably say, "Brother Gbenga, you have been paid by the government or you are supporting this 'regime'.
I have not been paid
I have, however, invested very deeply and I have seen great profit from my investments
I started in August this year at the prompting of the Holy Spirit
I want to be like my sister Chayila, who shared with us that she is living a soft life based on the interest from her investments alone.
Everything is not "die by fire and pray for those in government eating our money to die prayer."
If you don't sow when your mates are sowing, don't cry of hunger in the time of harvest, and don't blame any government.
If you like, go and carry all your money and give it to a pastor in return for anointing or miracle money, you will reap a prophet's reward in due time, but please don't enter my DM asking for urgent 2k.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
