This is the first time I’m sharing this story.
When I was running for AMAC Chairmanship in 2021, a very good friend of mine came to me, visibly worried. He cautiously pointed out that the only issue we might have was my credentials, lamenting that there were speculations about my university certificate.
I smiled because I understood that the campaign of calumny against my person during my early youth had spread far and wide.
After my graduation, some people close to me, young and elderly began speculating about whether I had actually finished university because they had been told that I had become a rap artist and even released an album while in London.
At the time, I never cared to explain myself to anyone because I felt that none of those making inquiries had paid my tuition. I have always resisted every attempt to prove myself to anyone. I’m just understanding that it may be the reason I was asked to step aside.
Today, after about 15 years of my graduation, I’m sharing my official graduation picture at Middlesex University London for the very first time.
As for my certificate, I’ll present it to the appropriate authorities whenever it is required.
Some people will still say it is AI. 😆
The ungodly song by Rarara has achieved the exact opposite of its apparent intention. Rather than damaging Sheikh Pantami’s image, it has only ended up giving him free publicity.
Today marks one year since the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari.
He was a man of conviction whose perseverance shaped his remarkable political journey. Despite repeated setbacks, he never abandoned his belief in democratic leadership or his commitment to the Nigerian project. Those who worked closely with him also came to know a disciplined, principled, and patriotic leader whose intentions were always based on service to the nation.
May Allah (SWT) grant him Aljannatul Firdaus and continue to comfort his family and all who mourn him.

The Day of Arafah is unmatched in virtue. The Prophet says: “There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the Day of Arafah. For those not on Hajj, fasting on this day expiates the sins of the previous year and the coming year, as he ﷺ said, “I hope from Allah that fasting on the Day of Arafah will expiate the year before it and the year after it”. It is the day Allah perfected the religion with the verse, “This day I have perfected for you your religion”, and the best du’a is the du’a of Arafah: “La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lah”
May Allah answer our prayers, heal our sick, forgive our parents and loved ones, bring peace and blessings to Nigeria, and admit us into His mercy.
