Day 6 of Building in Public.

We are not building the product yet.

We have the name.

We have the domain.

We have the waitlist.

The obvious next step would be to start building.

But we are not doing that yet.

First, we want to talk to founders.

We are planning our first Build in Public meetup in Tallinn.

We are also creating a useful free resource to bring more founders into the conversation.

Then we want to ask them simple questions.

What happens after launch?

Where do you struggle to get users?

What have you already tried?

What would actually help?

At the same time, we will keep testing promotion manually with real founders and creators.

We would rather learn the problem properly before spending months building the wrong thing.

Day 5: We finally picked the name and built a waitlist.

A few days ago I posted that we were overthinking it.

We had lists of names.

Domains open in 20 tabs.

Every name sounded good for 10 minutes.

Then we would find a reason not to use it.

We finally stopped.

The name is Rizeva.

Short. Easy to remember. And it still works if what we are building becomes much bigger than the idea we have today.

We also put the first waitlist page live.

It is not the full product.

It's a glimpse of what we are building, so join us early and we will notify you directly once the final product is ready.

Feels good to finally stop naming things and start building again.
