What the Malian government did today was strategic.

They allowed the terrorist to travel unrestricted into the heartland of the country, lure them further into open space, under the illusion of victory, then surrounded and neutralized most of them.

The Malian government may have succeeded, but the entire Sahel needs to be ready for the consequences on the extension of Hormuz closure’s effect to our region.

If the ceasefire with Iran refused to hold, as it seems so, by the end of April, then Europe will be in a desperate search for energy in Africa.
