A Nigerian, Abdul-Raheem Mansur Isa Yelwa, has emerged victorious in a prestigious international Qur’an recitation competition held in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Abdul-Raheem is from Bauchi State, and the son of Sheikh Professor Mansur Isa Yelwa, the Chief Imam of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU) Central Mosque, Yelwa Campus, Bauchi.

Allah has blessed Abdul-Raheem with exceptional Qur’anic recitation skills and a beautiful voice that touches the hearts of listeners.

Yesterday, Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria posted on Twitter that Nigerians can now export cow bones duty-free to China.

Under the comment sections, some Nigerians were asking the ambassador to tell them what they are using the cow bones for😁

Some were telling the ambassador to tell his people to come and setup the processing facility here in Nigeria, so they can create jobs.

Funny people. I laughed at our inability to do simple Google search.

As a livestock farmer and Agro commodities trader, I already know the uses of cow bones.

And about building a factory here in Nigeria? Nigerians are the ones to do it, but sadly everyone is building hotels😁

Let me tell you a few uses of cow bones.

Here are 4 major uses of cow bones you can mention in your content;

✍🏻Bone meal fertilizer: Cow bones are processed into bone meal, rich in phosphorus and calcium, used to improve soil fertility.

They prefer this to fertilize their soil not the chemical sold to our rural farmers.

✍🏻Animal feed supplement: Processed bone meal can be used as a mineral supplement in livestock feed, especially for calcium and phosphorus.

We use this for chicken feed, pig, and fish feed production.

In another proud moment and deep satisfaction, we today gathered in Ingawa LG to commission the 39km Shargalle–Dutsi–Ingawa Road, another critical infrastructure project delivered to improve connectivity, boost agriculture, and unlock economic opportunities for our people.

I was honoured to host my brother, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, who joined us as Special Guest of Honour. His presence underscores the spirit of unity and regional cooperation that drives sustainable development.

This road is more than asphalt and gravels, it is a lifeline for farmers, traders, and communities across Shargalle, Dutsi, Ingawa, and beyond. It will reduce travel time, enhance safety, and stimulate socio-economic growth.

We have also built on history. Originally constructed decades ago and later improved under past administrations, this modern upgrade ensures the road meets today’s realities and tomorrow’s demands.

I commend the Ministry of Works, Housing and Transport, the contractor, Mothercat Limited, and all partners for delivering this project ahead of schedule and to high standards.

I urge our people to take ownership of this asset and protect it for future generations.
