That law describes an audit process like the one abolished in the early 2000s.

Prof. P. Moi presented a case where mom has β0/β0, dad has normal Hb & MCV, HbA2<3.5%, HbF 2%, α:β ratio 1.2, but babies are transfusion-dependent β-thal! Turns out dad has αααα! Mildly elevated HbF and borderline MCV are clues to ααα or αααα according to prof.ssa Nica Cappellini

@HomeCareOntario @celliottability Fascinating. Home care can't even provide reliable PSW coverage to bed bound patients for simple diaper changes over long weekends (nobody available for 24+ hours expecting patient to lie in soiled diapers), I doubt very much it can do any of what you listed. 🙄🙄
