@stackerco I respect your views and agree with many. Personally, as an exmo woman, I don’t think the church is evil. But I do think it is extremely harmful due to its patriarchal structure. I know so many people who are struggling as a result of learned patriarchy, of all genders.

I wish LDS people would understand that a person simply telling their story, without vitriol or rudeness, isn’t “bashing the church.”

They want us to do the “respectful” thing & go away quietly. Anything else is an attack, even if it’s a song about a mom’s love for her gay son.

You know, talks about integrity just don't hit very hard when the organization that delivers it recently argued in court that it's perfectly okay for them to know child abuse is going on and then do nothing to protect that child or even report the abuser.
