I’m not one to post much, but I felt like I needed to get some things off my chest.

I really wish this community would stop believing everything you read. So much of what I see being said is either untrue or missing a whole lot of context. And honestly, some of the toxicity from people in this community is frightening.

I don’t know when it became normal to degrade other human beings so badly, or even threaten someone’s life, over a game.

The people on the other side of the screen are just trying their best. Sometimes they play great. Sometimes they don’t. That’s life.

I’ve seen what some of you have said about my son from behind a keyboard, and as his mom, it hurts. It hurts me and it hurts our family. Corbin @C0Mtweets honestly brushes most of it off and doesn’t care about the noise. So if your goal is to hurt him, you failed. If your goal is to hurt his family, sometimes you succeeded. And that’s just sad.

The truth is, most of you really don’t know everything that is going on.

Corbin is a good person. He’s not perfect, but he will always take the hit for his team. He sacrifices himself in game and outside of the game more than people realize.

I also understand stats are one of the only things you have to look at, but you don’t hear the calls, you don’t know what each player is being asked to do, and you don’t know what that team needs from its support system. Initiators are not one size fits all.

There is a reason he is still here, and I truly believe God has a plan for him.

This has been one of the hardest years for him, in game and outside of the game, and most of you have no idea what he has been through.

I’m not asking people to stop having opinions or criticizing how someone plays. That comes with being a pro.

I’m just asking you to please stop with the personal attacks and remember these are real people.

There is enough ugliness in the world already. This game should be a break from that.

Enjoy it. Have fun. Cheer for your team. Be mad when they lose. Talk your trash if you need to 😂

Just maybe try to smile a little more and remember there are real humans on the other side of that screen.
